Senior Project Manager
Clive has significant experience in solar energy internationally. He oversaw the build of the biggest grid-connected UK parks, before moving overseas to Myanmar pioneering the first solar park and in doing so delivering 50mw to an island grid infrastructure. His career then took him to Portugal connecting sites to operate under the highest irradiance levels in Europe.
Prior to working in renewable energy, Clive worked in the marine industry as a professional yacht skipper, racing around the world, refitting yachts for expeditions and running a global research vessel. He was involved in researching plastic pollution of oceans a decade before the issue was widely understood. Clive has a degree in surveying.
Michael started professional life in the City as a market maker in US Equities. After 23 years, he moved to Somerset to pursue a lifelong ambition to build a ‘Grand Designs’ style house. In 2010, he joined a Solar PV company, gaining invaluable experience in the renewable energy market. His current role is project manager for Green Power Generators.
In his spare time, he is avid sports fan and, when required, can still generate plenty of turn with his gentle off spin for the local village cricket team.
Sam supports Green Power Generators as it's financial assistant, joining the group in 2012. It's quite a distance from where she started out as designer for Poole Pottery before pursuing a career in architecture. More recently she made the move to start her accountancy training. She has a degree in 3 Dimensional Design and an HNC in Architectural Technology.
In her spare time she still draws on her creative skills as a jeweller and raises money for MS through marathon running and completing the 3 Peaks Challenge.
